Not wasting anymore time lets begin step by step on downloading to installing to registering DSC on incometax portal.

1. Downloading
   1. Go to Link https://www.incometax.gov.in/iec/foportal/downloads/dsc-management-utility and Download the embridge software on the system (Current Version Tested At time of the Writing This Blog 5.8.7.0)
2. Installing
   1. Install the Em Bridge by Right Clicking on the exe file and run as administrator
   2. Post installation there should be a folder names embridge in your start menu/icon on desktop names as embridge with orange color icon
   3. Run the Icon By Right Clicking icon and then “Run as Administrator”
   4. You can check If Embridge is running in Background by Right Clicking Start Menu->Task Manager->Processes Tab.There should Be Entry named embridge.exe *32
   5. If you cant find the following entry the following step has failed might be because of Java or any other dependencies.So try updating java or Netframework in this case
   6. You may Jus Right Click on Embridge Icon and Click Open File Location.It Will Open Folder in System drive /Program files /Emsigner
   7. You can see a text file with Current date.Open That File that will show up issues related to installation of em bridge
3. Preparing systems to trust and use new system(Most Important step)
   1. As You are already aware that gst portal uses same type of authentication system called emsigner and in early days of usage we have faced issues where in we opened extra tab with some url and clicked proceed unsafe ,the same goes here as well
   2. So For Incometax.gov.in we need to open an additional tab and paste the following link https://localhost.emudhra.com:26769/DSC/ListToken
   3. Once You Click on Proceed unsafe here.
   4. Please Do Use Proprietory Software of Vendors of DSC(List of Supported Token as On 28/07/2021)
      1. EnterSafe Epass2003
      2. Etoken Base Cryptograpgic Provider
      3. Mtoken Cryptoid SCP
      4. Trust Key CSP
      5. Proxkey CSP India
      6. Bit4id Universal Middleware Provider
   5. Use of Single Software for managing Systems Like Hyperpki wont be useful and will lead to msg on portal as Something went wrong please try after sometime.
   6. Best way to know if token original driver is available is Plugin DSC and there will be pop as CD drive is inserted.Open Folder and Run Setup File This will ensure that you have proper DSC software to work with for Your Token.Also this will help Embridge to connect seemlessly.
